We were shocked and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Our condolences go out to all his family and friends. We knew Dave in the late '60s and early '70s, in our little group of baseball, Kitsilano and Ritz buddies. Dave was such a gentleman and an easy going, hard working, sincere guy. He always stood out as the sensible one, who established himself in the elevator business at a young age, and also was the first of the gang to buy an apartment in Kitsilano. Dave was always the dependable one, sincere and honest. Patty says all the girls wanted to marry Dave! Although it has been many years since we saw Dave, we did get a chance to talk on the phone while visiting Bob Sneider last year, and remember some of the stories from those fabulous days. We have, and will continue to have, very fond memories of Dave. Once again, our condolences to all Dave's family and friends. - Posted by: Len and Patty Ritchie (Old friends) on: Mar 13, 2015

My name is Pat Sihikalo. I met Dave in Vancouver early 1970 when I entered the elevator trade. Dave was one of my first foremen and he took me under his wing immediately. We enjoyed many great times golfing and traveling together. Although I have kept in touch with Dave ever since he went back to the farm his passing is very difficult to accept. Dave was truly one of the good guys and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to family and friends. - Posted by: PAT SIHIKALO (FRIEND AND COWORKER) on: Mar 01, 2015
