I am so sorry Uncle Maurice, Dianna, Traci and family, to hear of the tragic accident that took your beloved wife, mom, grandma from you. Aunt Edith and Uncle Maurice were always so kind to us as children when we went to the farm. For a city girl I loved it and I hold the memories very dear to me. R.I.P. Words cannot express the loss we are all feeling right now. I don't know if it has sunk in or not. Aunt Edith was a kind, gentle, warm hearted person that cared deeply for her children, grandchildren and her life partner, Uncle Maurice. She will be missed so much by all of them and her close family and friends. You just never know what life will bring. She enjoyed her life to the fullest and enjoyed everything that she did. She left this world doing what she loved and we will all remember her and cherish the memories we had of her. To Uncle Maurice, dig deep into your heart because she will always be with you no matter where you are. To Dianna and Tracy, your mom was your friend, shoulder to cry on but most of all the person you always could turn to for anything. I know that is gone but she will always be there for you and she knew that you all loved her. Gone too soon but never forgotten. My total respect and sympathy at this time. - Posted by: michelle hazelton (neice) on: Mar 03, 2015

A life ended way too soon. My first memories of Edith were when she used to come through Carberrry with the blood donation clinics. She would come and visit us at the house and she was always so cheerful and chatty. Both Greg and I are so very sorry that this has happened. We are thinking of you and your family. Our deepest condolences. - Posted by: Greg and Margie Arason (Cousin) on: Feb 28, 2015

In my pre-teen years, I spent almost every weekend at the Mckague homestead, riding horseback, bringing the cows in, being chased by the bull & giggling when we should have been sleeping. We were inseparable & loved each other. As we aged, we grew into other spaces & contact was sparse. The lesson is make time for all your friends while they're still on this plane. So sorry she got taken so soon. - Posted by: Elaine Yarish (Bob Ziembicki) (Very close school friends) on: Feb 28, 2015

We, are very sorry to hear that Edith has passed. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are being sent to Maurice, Diana-Lynn, Tracey and their families at this very sad time. Time passes by and we may not have stayed in touch as much as we would have liked to, in recent years, but Maurice you and Edith have never fallen far from our thoughts.
