KIRK RAYMOND WILLIAM HAAG
Born: May 24, 1960
Date of Passing: Mar 04, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKIRK RAYMOND WILLIAM HAAG It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved Kirk. Born in Winnipeg on May 24, 1960, Kirk passed away at the Concordia Hospital on March 4, 2015. Predeceased by his parents Yvonne (Bunnie) and Eugene. Kirk will be forever missed by many, including his long time partner Val who was by his side through all the ups and downs of life, brother and fishing partner Ivan (Debbie O'Bee), nieces Alexandra and Rianne, stepmother Elaine, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kirk faced and overcame many challenges in his all too short life. He cherished his independence, but always welcomed support from his immediate and distant family members. Kirk loved his family dearly and took great joy in the simple things in life. Kirk had the good fortune to meet his soul mate Val, who has been by his side for over half his life. Together they fashioned a home life that was filled with mutual respect and support. Kirk could demonstrate his strong will when he deemed circumstances warranted it. When life was good, his humour shone through. Kirk was often unaware of how he unintentionally put a smile on everyone's face. Joy was Kirk's biggest motivator, a trait he had since birth. We will miss his chuckle and silly one liners. We will smile through our tears when we remember his special kind of humor. Loving you and missing you always Kirk. 'Shine bright like a diamond.' A memorial will be held for Kirk, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, R3K 1W3. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

The day he got his drivers license and got to drive the truck, He was so excited he couldn`t sit still to even eat a cookie. He was my favorite person to check and water all the trees we planted. Always brightened my day. - Posted by: Marjorie Oetting (friend) on: Mar 09, 2015
