SHEILA CHRISTINA MYER (nee ROBERTSON) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, & friend, Sheila Christina Myer (nee Robertson) on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 56 years, George; children David (Barbara), and Kathryn (Raymond); grandchildren Crystal (Adam), Ryan, Kyle, Michelle (Kim), Nicole (Mike), Karen (Matthew), and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren Blain, Lacy, Lexus, and Nico and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Robertson; brothers James and Thomas Robertson. Mom loved gardening and was famous for her baking but her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. In years past, Mom enjoyed travelling across Canada and the U.S. Recently, Mom's hobby was genealogy, leading to the discovery of many relatives in the U.K. which she was able to visit. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, MB with Pastor Gerhardt Friesen officiating.
