  • I am so saddened to hear of Carol's passing. I knew Carol as a schoolmate from age 5 at kindergarten through high school. Carol was such a mature and responsible person, even as a young girl. She looked after her two younger sisters a lot and made the meals when her parents were at work. I hadn't seen Carol for many many years as people often go in different directions but I always had her in my heart and often thought of her and wondered how she was doing. Carol married my husband's friend Henry as they were at school together in high school too. Small world. I am sure she is at peace with her love, Henry. I would have recognized that smile anywhere! God bless and rest in peace, my friend. - Posted by: Janice Davidson (nee Chudy) (Childhood friend) on: Jul 12, 2015

  • Carol was such a special person. I met Carol while working for the CWB-Legal Department (during the 80's) what a great person to work with. When she left the CWB we still kept in contact. A couple of years later we became co-workers again, I started working for the WSD. She sure will be missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to Carol's family. Sincerely Paula & family - Posted by: Paula Patten ((friend/former co-worker)) on: Mar 14, 2015

  • I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I worked with Carol at Norquay School some years ago. She was such a wonderful, kind hearted, caring person. She was always smiling, and ready to help anyone in need. She loved dogs and even rescued them if she could, trying to find a good home for them. I took home one such rescued pup (as a pet for my mother), who became a loyal, beloved sidekick for her. I was so grateful to Carol, as my mom loved that dog. My sincerest condolences on your loss. Rest in Peace Carol. Love, Lesia xo - Posted by: Lesia Truchan (friend and former co-worker) on: Mar 11, 2015

  • Dear Tracy, Travis, and family, My condolences to all of you. I had the pleasure of meeting your mom at Norquay School and then working with her and establishing a friendship for many years at George V School. Your Mom was a very special person, one who was very strong and courageous to the very end. She will be missed by many! May you find comfort in each other, in knowing that she loved you all dearly, and in all the fond memories you have of her. She is now in a better place, pain-free and at peace, reunited with your dear Dad whom she missed an awful lot. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
