VIOLET KOLBUCK (nee WASNEY) 1938 - 2015 It is with heavy hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Violet Kolbuck, with family by her side, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her parents Techla and George, her loving husband Teddy, and brother Johnny. Violet will be lovingly remembered by son Mitch (Terry); daughter Alison (Colin); grandchildren Corey (Quinn), Ryan (Natasha), Kyle, Connor, and Jessica; great-granddaughter Hailey; sister Annie Kulbaba; brother Walter (Mary); and sister-in-law Emily Wasney. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception will follow. The family would like to extend a special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba, home care, and the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent help and care they showed Violet over the years. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make a donation in Violet's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
