  • Deepest sympathy to the family of Uncle Cec. I last talked to Uncle Cec on his 100th birthday in 2014 when I called him from Mexico to wish him happy birthday & he told me again that he can still touch his toes. He will be missed. - Posted by: Vickie Sharon (Southgate) Caton (Neice) on: Sep 17, 2015

  • It is with deep sorrow that we heard of the passing of our good friend Cec. We have wonderful memories of Cec & Margaret thru the years and also many visits with Cec at Sturgeon Creek. Both were a pleasure to know as they both became like family. They will be in our hearts forever. Our thoughts are with you Doreen and your family. - Posted by: Jens Fieting/Annette (Friends posted by Jens & Annette (Florida May18, 2015)) on: Mar 18, 2015

  • Our Uncle Cecil has always demonstrated tolerance, good will, and empathy. His mild mannered ways were always appreciated within the family. During the 2012 Thiessen family reunion he participated fully to everyone`s enjoyment and appreciation. He was a good man. Our sincerest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Al and Sharon Nickel (nephew) on: Mar 15, 2015

  • It was with sadness that we heard of Uncle Cecil's passing. We always enjoyed our visits. Uncle Cecil was always full of vim and vigor and made us welcome and feel loved. He and Aunt Margaret made the trip out to our daughter's wedding and made friends and admiration with many and awed us with their smooth dancing. Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Ron and Joanne Hiebert and family (Nephew) on: Mar 14, 2015

  • Our uncle Cecil was a mild mannered, tolerant, and empathic man. He bore no ill will to anyone and remained interested in extended family matters. In 2012 he attended a Thiessen Reunion in Killarney, Manitoba as our elder "statesman". He participated fully at this event to everyone`s enjoyment. He lived a full life. Rest in Peace. Our condolences to the family. - Posted by: Al and Sharon Nickel (nephew) on: Mar 14, 2015
