Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ANNE HUNNIE (nee MOORE) March 16, 1944 - March 6, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the age of 70 years, with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and true friend and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Left to forever cherish Pat's memory are her loving husband of 51 years Larry; daughters Audra Hunnie (Rene) and Denise Hunnie-Menow (Darryl); grandchildren Drayd, Owen and Layne. Pat also leaves to mourn her sisters Diane Seymour (Stan), Elaine Kostchuk (Gary) and many close nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Anne Moore; nephews Todd Seymour and Michael Hunnie and sister-in-law Karen Hunnie. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Pat graduated from Elmwood High School, class of '61. She enjoyed the cottage life with her family, having a piece of paradise at Big Whiteshell Lake. Pat retired after working many years for CIBC. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening and crossword puzzles. She also loved animals and had fond memories of her Bichons. She also enjoyed being a snow bird and heading down to Mesa and Yuma, Arizona. Pat enjoyed every special occasion and looked forward to any opportunity she could to spend time with her loved ones family and friends. Her warm smile lit up any room. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. R. Marten's, Dr. E. Tunovic, the nursing staff at Concordia Hospital N1 South and family and friends. A Celebration of Patricia's Life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive with Rev. Dr. Sharon Wilson presider. Dear Larry and family, I was so saddened to hear of Pat's passing. I remember what a wonderful and happy person she was. She always had a smile that would melt your heart.
