VIOLA BOWES (nee GAUDET) Peacefully on March 13, 2015 our precious mother passed away at the age of 90 years. Mom was born on Prince Edward Island. She was predeceased by her husband Ron; daughter Elaine; grandson Daryll; her parents Louise and Emmanuel Gaudet; her sisters Olive and Dolores; and brother Aubin. Left behind are her daughters Shirley (Bill), Linda (Jerry); her son Ron (Merna); her sisters Della and Terry (Jack); as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Mom loved to go to bingo, enjoyed her guitar and playing her spoons. She never turned down an opportunity at playing the VLT's. Old time music and country music were an important part of mom's life. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A huge thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor of Poseidon Care Home. Mom it's not goodbye, it's when we meet again. Rest in peace. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Dear Shirley, Linda, Ronnie and Families Our Heartfelt sympathies to you all as you go through this trying time. Thinking of you today as you remember the beautiful LIFE of your Mom. Your Mom was very lucky and fortunate to have such a wonderful loving Family. I know she will be missed by each and everyone one of you. She was a lovely, fun loving lady...I will remember her always. Our many late evening telephone conversations will be treasured by me. We had them even after we moved to Florida. We could be as silly as we wanted to be on the phone and also had very serious conversations. She was a special lady and will be missed by all of us. You all are thought of warmly today (Friday March 20th ) as Mom is being remembered. From afar our Prayers and may you each feel GOD's loving arms around you...HIS comfort to each of you... Dear Shirley, Linda Ron and Families. Please know you are in our Thoughts and Prayers. One special memory I have is when we lived in New Brunswick I got to spend a week-end with your mom and dad. Your dad was the love of her life and how she loved being a mom. At 7 years of age your mom made me feel so important as we sat and talked in the evenings. I have and will always cherish that special week-end. Love, Prayers and Many Blessings To You All - Posted by: Ted and Lorraine Lamboo (Niece) on: Mar 19, 2015
