Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALDEMAR KUCH 1928 - 2015 On Sunday, March 15, 2015, Waldemar Kuch died peacefully in his sleep, with family at his side. Waldemar was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Rudolf Kuch, and his wife Ursula. Waldemar is survived by his sister, Hilde Wolter of Germany, his children Betty, Randy (Kim) and Susan (Kelly). Opa will also be greatly missed by his three grandsons, Jordan, Justin and Travis who gave him great pride and joy. Waldemar was born on September 2, 1928 in Mescheny, Romania. He left Germany for Canada as a young man in November 1951. He worked very hard on his arrival in Canada sending money home to his family as they had suffered greatly during the war. Dad and Mom were married in Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1956 and moved to Winnipeg in 1962. Dad worked in construction and his perfected' trade from which he was retired, was in steel construction as a Welding Supervisor/Manager. Dad was very talented at his craft and a hardworking man. Supporting his family was always his number one priority. Memorial Service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Glen Eden Funeral Home and Cemetery 204-338-7111
