MARY (NINA) REGULA (nee GMITROWSKI) January 23, 1925 - March 15, 2015 Peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2015, Nina passed away at St. Joseph's Residence in Winnipeg at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Thomas Regula. Nina will be lovingly remembered by her children: Grace Penner, Jim and wife Laurie-Anne, Maggie Domiter and husband Frankie, and Danny. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael Kudlowich, Pamela Kudlowich and Samantha Penner, her siblings Johnny and wife Rose Gmitrowski, Tony and wife Audrey Gmitrowski, and Elizabeth Bodner and sister-in-law Josie Bahry as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and cousins. She met the love of her life Tom while singing in the church choir. Mom lived a simple and self-sufficient life, raising her family on the farm in Cloverleaf. She took pride in maintaining a large garden and sewing most of her own clothes. She was involved in 4-H, the Polish National Catholic Church and attended the Women's World Day of Prayer. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Residence and Dr. Finlayson and his staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for all their professional care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour.
