KIMBERLY RECHIK - BROWN (nee GRANT) July 24, 1972 - March 16, 2015 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kimberly Lynne Grant at the age of 42 years, surrounded by her family at the Arborg Hospital. She was predeceased by her grandparents Ron and Shirley Delbridge of Hnausa, Weldon and Bernice Grant of Brandon, her cousin JC Hallett of Silver, and brother-in-law Garry Preston of Clarkleigh. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Judy and Charlie Grant of Riverton, as well as her husband Marvin Brown, her children, Ashley Rechik (Myles), Kurtis Rechik, Tayler Rechik (Drew), Savannah Rechik, Tasha Grant, Dante Grant, Dexter Brown, Jylynn Brown, and Healkah Brown, one grandchild Declan, and her mother-in-law Healkah Brown. She will also be sadly missed by her four sisters Robin (Ken), Candace, Katie, Carrie (Curtis), and her brother Christopher (Melanie) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Kim was born on July 24, 1972 in Winnipeg and grew up in Winnipeg and Hnausa. Settling down in Riverton in 2010, after a short stay in Ledwyn, Dauphin and Winnipeg Beach. Kim was a kind hearted, positive, strong person. She was always upbeat and loved to joke around even during her illness. A viewing will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Home in Arborg on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held at the Riverton Gospel Church, 212 Reggie Leach Drive on March 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with lunch to follow. Pastor Vern officiating. A special thanks goes out to the doctors and staff at the Arborg Hospital.
