LORRAINE SHEILA MANN (née KAHLER) 1936 - 2015 Peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Deer Lodge Centre, Lorraine passed away at the age of 78 years. Lorraine was born on August 15, 1936 in Winnipeg. As a child, she spent many happy times in the summer with her sister at the family farm in Lundar. She met her husband, Ken, at the Crescent Fort Rouge Young People's Group, at which church they were married 58 years ago. Lorraine and Ken enjoyed many road trips together, from coast to coast. Lorraine was an avid animal lover, reflected in the many beloved pets she and the family had throughout the years. She was an amazingly giving and loving person, who was kind to everyone. She is survived by her loving husband Ken; daughter Jennifer (Dave); son Stuart and his children Kaitie and Casey; sister Pat Barth and nephews Malcolm (Dina) and children David and Angelina; Geoffrey (Julie); Andrew (Allison) and children Matthew, Erin and Jake; and Ken's family Russell (Gayle); Marian; Maurice (Rosemary) and all their families; and all Lorraine's extended family and dear friends, who know who they are. Many thanks to all the nurses, aides and staff at Deer Lodge Centre, 6th floor East. Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, 525 Wardlaw Ave. at Nassau Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's name to the Mennonite Central Committee Manitoba, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715
