A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at The Cathedral Church of St. John, 135 Anderson Avenue. Longer obituary to follow. Paul was a special part of my life. He married Dave and I, baptized all our kids, confirmed Danny & Dana, took part in Danny's funeral, and was our minister for many years, first at St James and later at St. Stephen's. I always listened very closely to his sermons because I was always afraid he would ask me a question that I would've only known the answer to if I'd listened. He often came and met me for lunch when I was working at the HSC campus. In later years it seems like we only met up at funerals but I always enjoyed hearing from him and Shirley when he would send his Christmas family and event updates. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. It's hard to believe he is gone - sudden death is always harder to accept. Shirley and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dear Shirley and family, we are so very saddened to learn that Paul has passed on to his eternal life to be with his God and Creator. Paul was a very dear and special person who shepherded many people in his lifetime. We always enjoyed the time we have spent with the both of you.
