Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOREST ANTHONY MONASTERSKI March 9, 1951 - March 24, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Orest on March 24, 2015 with his family by his side. Orest will be lovingly remembered by his sons Chad (Cori), Ben (Rhonda) and Jamie (Renata); grandchildren Brett, Levi, Joshua, Ethan, Aiden, Devan, Samantha; sisters Adeline, Elsie and Caroline (Ron); and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Pete and Jean. Orest's interests were many. He loved to spend his time making perogies, gardening, volunteering at the soup kitchen, and spending time with his family. Orest will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched. A heartfelt thank you to the unknown bystander who helped him, and all the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre Emergency and MICU departments. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. In lieu of flowers if so desired, donations in memory of Orest may be made to the Manitoba Arthritis Society.
