He married Mary-Lynne in 1980 and together, they spent many years building the real estate company, travelling in their van all over Canada and the United States, and finally retiring to Winnipeg in 1998. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Ed was instrumental in furthering the Co-operative movement of Lowe Farm, M.B. He and my Dad Jake Harder worked together as a team in establishing the store, consumers and gas station. In 1955 he ambulanced my brother Russell to the Morris Hospital with a broken leg, having tripped and fallen in front of the Lowe Farm High School. I very much enjoyed baby-sitting Marvin, Gordon and Vernon. Ed will be remembered in many ways. - Posted by: Lorna ( Harder) Kuhlmann (Cousin) on: Apr 08, 2015

  • Our condolence to Mary-Lynne and family: Our thoughts are with you Mary-Lynne. It saddens our hearts to see his passing. To sit with Ed on warm sunny days or not was always a great day. He had many great stories and was a very warm hearted person. He will be missed. Always, Ken and Lynette Ruta - Posted by: (extended family) on: Apr 08, 2015
