Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE GERTRUDE GODDARD December 11, 1914 - April 6, 2015 Peacefully, Alice Gertrude Goddard passed away on Easter Monday at Seven Oaks Hospital. Nana is survived by her son, Alan Goddard (Gabriele and their children, Dustin and Jaclyn), her grandchildren, Christopher Conway (Donna, and their son Will), Sandra Wilson (and her children, Joan (and her sons, Jacob and Joshua), Arlin, Mitchell, Susanna, Eliot, and Leah), and Maureen Conway (John Fregeau and their sons, MacKenzie, Jackson and Jamieson). She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Robert Goddard, her daughter, Joan Conway, and by her sisters, Olive Johnson, Irene Madill and Thelma Levin. She was a loving mother and nana; her family was her world. She was born and raised near Erickson, Manitoba, remained proud of her Scandinavian heritage and stayed in contact with near and distant family members while her health permitted her to do so. She lived in St. James all of her adult life, and would not have lived anywhere else. Thanks to all of the people who cared for and assisted her during her time at Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Surgical Unit U1, Seven Oaks Hospital for their loving care of our mother and grandmother. A celebration of her life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
