A man of profound wisdom and subtle wit ... those qualities come to mind as I think of your Dear Papa and Grandpa. The circle of warmth and welcome always extended ... such gratitude I feel having been nurtured in it on treasured visits. A recent quote suggests that "we are all here to walk each other Home"... you have done well dear family. Wishes for many comforting blessings. We have great and loving memories of Uncle Tony and many times it was centered over dinners and what great dinners they were. Tony's warmth and hospitality was always inviting. Tony had a serious side too but really enjoyed life and shared that everyone. Tony will be missed by us all and we will never forget his smile and the love he shared with everyone, and especially the love of his life, Lola and his Famiglia (family!) - Posted by: Len and Sharon Lott (My Dad's Uncle but we all called him Uncle Tony) on: Apr 11, 2015

Mr. D. was, to me...the calm in the eye of the "storm". I spent a lot of my Winnipeg life-time with my soul sister Laura and her awesome parents. Great meals around the family table...loud and boisterous goings-on and Mr. D. at the head of that table....joining the action with his quieter Cheshire Cat vibe...Mr. D. the driver....loved his cars and loved driving Mrs. D around to all their social and cultural and culinary adventures...Mr. D......made a mean German Chocolate Cake and a great cup of coffee..... My deepest sympathy to all of you.iI is almost unbearable for you to have to endure this so soon after the loss of your Mom and Nona. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that they are reunited...and knowing that you are not alone in your grief. - Posted by: Deb Maluk (friend) on: Apr 09, 2015
