Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGINA LYNNE MACDONALD It is with deepest sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Lynne MacDonald on April 6, 2015. Lynne was born April 23, 1948 and grew up north of Austin. She attended Springbrook School and Austin High School. Her first marriage resulted in two sons Troy MacDonald and Ryan MacDonald. In 1991 she began a relationship with Alan Tait and spent 24 happy years on the farm raising cattle and running their market garden - The Corn Stop. Lynne enjoyed a 25 year career at the MacGregor Hospital, cooking and caring for the residents as a nurse's aide. She is survived by her partner Alan Tait and extended family; stepson Jeff (April), grandchildren Shayne, Andie and Triston; stepdaughter Kim (Sean), grandchildren Justin, Tyler and Jordan; stepdaughter Angela, grandchildren Brianna and Cord; her sons Troy MacDonald, Ryan MacDonald (Rowena) and special grandson Cameron. She is also survived by her siblings Frank (Yvonne), Darwin (Donna), Lorraine Chant, Eric (Lynda), sister-in-law Bev Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Beth Anderson; brothers Lorne Anderson and Garth Anderson, and brother-in-law Robert Chant. The Funeral Service will be held in the Austin Hall April 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Sarah Bruer officiating. Everyone is invited to attend.
