Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILLIE JEAN BILENKY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother and great- grandmother, Millie Jean Bilenky on April 4, 2015 at Concordia Place. Millie was predeceased by her mother, Mary Nowicki, her father Micheal Bohusz and stepfather Micheal Nowicki. She leaves to mourn her three loving sons, Wayne (Barb), Randy and Bradley (Jennifer), her stepbrother Ted (Diane) and her grandchildren Kim (Kevin), Nathan (Cindy), Kristen, Nicholas, Kurtis, Naia and Amaea and great- grandchildren, Ayla and Zander. Millie was born and raised in od Elmwoon November 7, 1929. After working for twenty years, Wally "Ladg" at the Canadian National Railroad and Millie in the insurance industry, embarked into the hospitality industry together, where they worked side by side for twenty years. During this time, she became affectionately know as "Mom" to many of the frequent patrons of the hotel. Millie was a generous and maternal woman. She prided herself on hosting Sunday dinners with the family, serving her famous Ukrainian favourites, such as perogies, pereshka and holubtsi. Millie and Wally spent 50 years together spending time dancing at the legion, travelling and playing card games with friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Father Zack Shwaluk officiating. Reception to follow. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Place who were so compassionate regarding moms need throughout her time there. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Millie's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE 204-339-5555
