MARGARET FRASER QUICKENDEN (nee GREIG) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Margaret Quickenden at Grace Hospital on April 13, 2015. Left to mourn her passing is husband of 67 years, Henry (Hank) and son Robert (Rob). Marge was predeceased by her Dad and Mother, Charlie and Peggy Greig and daughter Carol Corthey. She will be missed by cousins David and Morag Hooker of East Grimsted, England, and also Jack and Roberta Beverley and Vera Ditchfield of Winnipeg and long time friend Joan Bettes. Marge grew up on Toronto St. in the West End and worked at several jobs, ending up at Van Kirk Decorating for many years. She also enjoyed summers at the family cabin at West Hawk Lake and, in later years, bus excursions with friends to casinos south of the border. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Grace Hospital, especially on the 4th floor. Interment of ashes will be held privately at a later date at Chapel Lawn. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
