Date of Passing: Apr 14, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLASZLO KESZLER, SR. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laszlo Keszler (senior) on April 14, 2015 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 88 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years Margit, his four children Laszlo, Sandor (Wendy), Lajos and Iren (Glen), seven grandchildren, Robyn, Brian, Darrell, Amanda, Cameron, Ryan and Tyler and two great-grandchildren John and Ayla. As a child Laszlo grew up in Hungary. In search of a better life Laszlo and Margit immigrated to Canada in the mid 50s. They landed in Montreal and moved west to Winnipeg. Once they settled this was their home to this day. Laszlo loved the outdoors and enjoyed wildlife, fishing and hunting. He introduced all his children to the outdoors and to this day the Keszler family carries on enjoying the wonderful outdoors Laszlo showed them. Laszlo always took the family camping, fishing and hunting and made the best of every weekend with his family. Laszlo was a loving husband, great dad and a caring grandfather. He will be truly missed. Rest in peace. We would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital for their compassionate care and medical attention. His wishes for cremation and a family gathering will be honoured. KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 HENDERSON HWY 204-338-0331 Condolences may be sent to: www.klassenfuneralhome.com

With fond and everlasting memories of the times of my youth, my brother (Chris) and I had spent with the sons of Laszlo Sr. and Mrs. Keszler (Margit). As they had welcomed us into their home and many weekend fishing ventures. And although time and distance had come between seeing them as life's pursuits had interrupted us from keeping close. Those great memories with him were just a thought away. Our deepest sympathy to you all. The Jensens - Posted by: Ken Jensen (friends ) on: Apr 26, 2015

A very special man with many special stories. Remember clearly the time he came out to our cabin and chopped wood all day without working up a sweat and he was in his 70's. Our condolences go out to the whole family. The Pochinko family. - Posted by: Chris and Dave Pochinko (Friend) on: Apr 18, 2015

A complete person,, a true gentleman, and one whose values met his actions. Although we hadn't seen each other for over 20 years, the memory of how much I respected his way of living his life has not diminished. - Posted by: Hart Mallin (friend) on: Apr 18, 2015
