Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN STELLA BERARD (nee KINACH) Sadly on Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Winnipeg, we lost our mother Helen Stella Berard, at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her parents John and Marie Kinach of Marchand, Manitoba as well as her stepbrother Emile Stelmach. She is survived by her only sister Stella Lamontagne and her sister-in-law Jenny, both of Winnipeg. She will be greatly missed by her six children, David (Kairistine), Danny (Nurit), Joanne, Landaira (Terry), Mary-Ann and Mark; her grandchildren, Alisha (Ron), Noah (Carrie), Brayden (Asha), Julian, Addi, Nathalie, Tamir, Doron and Trevor, and her two great-grandchildren Eowyn and Vivian as well as numerous nieces, nephews and all her friends. Helen was a nurse at Winnipeg Municipal Hospitals (Queen Elizabeth and King George) for over 34 years. Prayers will take place at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary's Road, on April 23 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held also at Christ the King Church on April 24 at 10:00 a.m. Final resting place will be at Marchand Cemetery, Marchand, MB. "He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness. The world of the past has gone." Helen was a member of our Four-Fold Friendship Group since the 1980s. She will be missed by all of us as she was such an adventurous, optimistic, and enthusiastic friend whose positive attitude, energy and sparkling personality we were blessed with for so many years.
