Dad never gave up hope that he would beat the odds and return home. Dad was born to Charles and Elizabeth McIntosh at Eriksdale, Manitoba on April 1, 1926. Dad was predeceased by his half brothers, John and James Smith; and grandson Scott McIntosh. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jean; daughters, Charlene (Clint) and Lori; and son Ian; and grandchildren, Gregory, Alexander (Amanda), Kaitlyn, George, Katarina, Carly, Laura, Evan; and great-grandson Jaxson.
