When I am gone, release me, let me go I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away. For life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear, All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome home." Author unknown. My Grandma was like my second Mother. When mom was in school or working two jobs...it was Grandma that was there at noon to make my Brothers and my lunch. She was there after school, helped with homework, talked about problems with friends and eventually boys. She filled my heart with love on a continuous basis. She was a shoulder to cry on, one to remind me that "it's not that bad, someone always has it worse." I find myself missing her every day, but in a way, jealous...because she's with God, and Grandpa. At least she is no longer suffering with the disease that took her from us 15 years ago.... Nana I miss you, I love you, and hope I make you proud. until we meet again. see you soon (our lives really are just a blip when it later comes to eternity with our loved ones in the kingdom of God. xoxoxo Love: Chantal My Belle - Posted by: Chantal Amanda Pilon- Taylor (Grand-daughter) on: Aug 04, 2015
