Darryl & family - So sorry to read about your Dad. Miss seeing you at Syl's since you retired. Many years have passed since we worked together. My grandchildren have grown up always having to stop at Syl's every time we went to Manitou and on the way back. They are now 19 and 21. Your Dad certainly established a tradition. - Posted by: Gerri McLean (Shute) (Friend) on: May 17, 2015

My sincere sympathy to Kim and Darryl and family. Your Dad was one of a kind. I loved running into him when I'd visit Carman. He always had a funny story or joke for me. What a wonderful long life he had but still sad to lose such a wonderful man. - Posted by: Colleen (Brechin) Boutang (Neighbour) on: Apr 27, 2015

Darryl, my sincere condolences to you and your family. When I was a young fellow playing hockey your Dad would always stop and talk to me and treat me like a true friend. I have never forgotten that. He was the definition of a true gentleman. I know he will be truly missed by your family. - Posted by: Ross Burnett (Friend) on: Apr 25, 2015

We have truly lost a wonderful friend. As a "snow bird" we had many laughs and lots of fun with Quintin and Jo. We do hope that fond memories will help you through this difficult time. - Posted by: Ray & Wanda Forsyth Regina, Sk. (Friend) on: Apr 25, 2015
