Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • Auntie Edna, Pam & Jim, Shelley & Randy and families, so sorry for your loss. Uncle Emil was a wonderful man and a great character. He always made you feel welcome, always made you laugh and you always knew when he was in the room. Countless good times and memories. Thinking of you all. - Posted by: Christine Tarr (niece) on: May 06, 2015

  • Edna, we will miss Emil deeply. Together with Emil you made many longtime friends. May your friends and neighbors, the happiness you shared, your faith and one yellow rose sustain you and keep you strong. Love you... • So sorry to hear about Emil's sudden passing. Emil was such a "fun loving" out-going person who would always put a smile on your face! Our sincere sympathy to Edna and family at this very difficult time. "Within our hearts the ones we love are never really gone - they live on in beautiful memories." - Posted by: Frank & Geri Zabudny () on: Apr 28, 2015

  • To Pamela & Jim, Shelley & Randy, Rebecca, Peter, Tobi & Brett. We are deeply saddened by your loss of a dad and Gigi (grandpa). Somehow we are never prepared for such an event. We know he loved you guys to pieces and he always regarded his setbacks as temporary and ready to go where he was needed and to help. Though we are far away, we will miss him and his infectious laughter while there in person and over the long-distance phone. • My wife, Ella-Jean, and I were at Emil and Edna's wedding and Edna, prior to her own wedding, was one of the bridesmaids at my wedding. Although we grew apart over the years, I still have fond memories about both events. Edna and I danced a wild polka at my wedding wherein we bowled everyone aside from one end of the hall to the other. My condolences go to Edna and her children for their loss. May they find peace and renewed happiness in the future. Chuck Hamelynck - Posted by: Chuck Hamelynck (old-time friend ) on: Apr 28, 2015

  • Emil will be truly missed by us. Playing cards, mushroom picking, casino choir and the special nudge he gave me when he walked past me in church, his thumbs up when the choir was singing. Finding songs for him and typing them for him in big print. There will be no man able to fill his shoes. He was always there for you no matter what. RIP Emil our dearest friend. - Posted by: Daviette and Andy Noga (Friends) on: Apr 27, 2015
