• Where do i start! Eric and Rose and their 2 daughters Valerie and Ardis were regular visitors at Johnson's cabins in Kenora, Ontario. I remember the bbq's...the boatrides on Lake of the woods and all those fun filled times. In recent years goose hunting trips in Lac Du Bonnet were always finalized with visits to Eric and Rose's in Winnipeg. They always greeted me with a smile and were such gracious hosts. Eric and i always reminisced about the countless Canada goose and whitetail hunts that we had enjoyed over the years. Eric was a true outdoorsman in every sense of the word and an unbelievable marksman with his 30 / 30. I will always be jealous of his successful shots at whitetails, going full out on the run across farmers fields. Eric was always our guide when in Winnipeg and accompanied Doris and i on many shopping trips throughout the city. Too me.... Eric was the farmer of the family, a proud outdoorsman , a very intelligent man, a loving husband to Rose and and an amazing father to Val and Ardis (he was always helping) .... not to mention a great cousin.
