Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIE RAUSER 1920 - 2015 On April 27, 2015, Emilie Rauser (nee Pomereinke) passed away, at the age of 94, to be with her Lord and Saviour. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Werner (Renate), and Brigitte Konrad (Otto); son-in-law Theo Koehle; grandchildren, Mark (Shawna), James (Tess), Michael (Gailene), Mona Porcher (Jake), Melanie Wolowich (Ed), Nicole Bawolin (Justin), Adam Konrad (Christena), Sean Konrad (Glenda); and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Victoria, Sophia, Jamieson, Emily, Luke, Daniel, Nicholas, Savannah, Makayla, Robyn, Lincoln, and Nyla. Emilie was predeceased by her loving husband Emanuel, of 71 years, her daughter, Elfriede Koehle, her parents, Johannes and Emma Pomereinke (nee Geissler), and all her brothers and sisters. Emilie was born on August 15, 1920 in Neufell, Romania. Emilie attended the Baptisten-Geminde in Wien and accepted her Lord and Saviour and was baptized on June 2, 1940. She met Emanuel at her sister Erna's wedding and they were married on December 13, 1941 in Wien, Austria. On June 18, 1956 the family immigrated to Canada. They sailed from Bremen Haven on a ship called the Arosa Sun. Mom / Oma will be missed by her children and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered! The family would like to thank the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home for the wonderful care of our mother. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Klassen Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Viewing to be held prior to service.
