NELLIE BAKER (nee TACZYNSKI) 1919 - 2015 Nellie Baker passed away peacefully on April 25, 2015 with her family by her side at the Holy Family Nursing Home in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Roy; son Ronald and grandson Theron. Remaining to cherish her memory is her daughter Marlene (Harvey); son Lorne (Bonnie); grandchildren Kevin (Barb), Bradley (Lonna), Jeffrey (Amanda), Ian (Chandelle) and Dale (Leanne). Nellie was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Nellie and Roy farmed for many years in the Gypsumville, MB area. Nellie also worked in the kitchen at C.F.B. Gypsumville. In her later years she moved to Winnipeg to be closer to her family. Nellie was a loving caring person who would do anything for anybody, there was no beating around the bush and she told it like it was. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of the Holy Family Nursing Home and Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor, Unit 7. Also to her daughter-in-law Bonnie for all your special care and love over the years. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private service held at a later date. The family would greatly appreciate that any donations be made to the Holy Family Nursing Home, 165 Aberdeen Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2T 1T9.
