PEGGY (MARGARET) WIEBE (nee FRIESEN) On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Peggy (Margaret) Wiebe (nee Friesen) went into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, at home, surrounded by her family, one week before her 80th birthday. In addition to her beloved husband Ed Wiebe, Peggy leaves to grieve her: daughter Bev Wiebe; son Ken and Marilyn Wiebe; daughter Naomi and Greg Gerbrandt; daughter Wilma and John Wiebe; daughter Mavis and Peter Noteltiers; and son Rod and Evy Wiebe; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional to follow at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W., Steinbach, MB. There will also be a time of viewing at the church prior to the funeral service. The funeral service for Peggy Wiebe will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave., Steinbach, MB. Burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB. Should friends so desire, donations in Peggy's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
