OLGA MARIE LAND (MOSKAL) After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Olga passed away May 5, 2015 at Seven Oaks Hospital. She was 82. She is survived by her two daughters Marla (children Hayley and Kelly); Lynn and husband Ron (son Troy); son Glen and wife Shelby (children Logan and Jayda). Also daughter-in-law Julie (children DJ and Derek); grand-daughter Danielle and her children, great-grandsons Taylor and Riley; sister-in-law Jean Moskal; several nieces and nephews; her best friend Audrey, and her beloved dog Bo. She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Irene Moskal; husband Bill (January 1990); son Darryll (February 1993); brother Walter (December 2004); nephew Ted (December 2014); son-in-law Ken (January 2014) and cousin Eddie (January 2004). Mom was born December 25, 1932. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother and it was always a welcome sight for us to have her to come home to. She had a heart of gold and family meant everything to her. Dinners out, family gatherings and shopping trips were always special for her. She'd often say "You are nothing without your health or family" and would always brag about how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. She instilled in us to be honest, hard-working, kind and generous. To be careful with money but spend it wisely and "enjoy life". Our Dad was "the love of her life" and though it breaks our hearts to lose her - it's comforting to know they are together once again. Please continue to watch over us, Mom. We will always need your guidance and will never forget you. Always and forever. Thank you to the staff of 5 Unit 4 and Dr. Warraich for all your care and compassion. Private interment. Service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Refreshments to follow service. Flowers gratefully declined. Please make a donation instead to the Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba. "Love You, Mom" Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715

To my cousins and their families, my deepest sympathy. To all who knew her and loved her, I grieve with you. I was blessed to have a wonderful Aunt in my life for almost all my life. We shared many festive dinners and holiday memories. I was her flower girl when she married my mother's youngest brother, and I never went to Winnipeg that I didn't visit or even stay with her. She was my touchstone, and I will miss her for the rest of my life. Pamela Bennett-Hoch and Douglas Hoch - Posted by: Pamela Bennett-Hoch (Niece ) on: May 15, 2015

So sorry to hear of your loss. I first met your mom back in the late 70's when my parents became her neighbours. There were many pleasant conversations held over the back yard fence. Your Mom was always a very pleasant, kind and friendly person. Whenever we met by chance in a store or elsewhere, we always had a friendly chat. My most recent visit with her was at Ted's celebration of life and she was her usual, talkative, friendly person. Cherish all the fond memories you have of her, find comfort in each other and in knowing that others are thinking of you at this difficult time.
