Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALDEMAR (WALLY) REMPEL December 3, 1936 May 7, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB. He is survived by his wife, Irene (nee Klassen) of 55 years, children: Farrel, Kerwin, Marty and Marita and their families. Cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, 430 3rd Street, Steinbach, MB. Ash interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wally may be made to Grace Mennonite Church. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030

We knew Uncle Wally through My parents Jim & Margo Penner our sincere condolences. Wally is my mothers cousin, so we called him uncle Wally,(Uncle Wally as we knew him made everyone feel welcome and happy in all circles) we will always remember his contiguous smile.
