Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Worked with your dad for over 20 years until his retirement, great guy and dedicated family man, accept my sincerest condolences. - Posted by: Wayne Trask (Friend and Co-worker) on: May 16, 2015

  • I met Alfi in the elevator trade when we both were working at the HSC. I met his son Dennis when he worked in the trade. Now as the Business Representative for the Local Elevator Union, I had a few visits from Alfi which I always enjoyed. The last time we spoke was just before he went to B.C. for the winter. He was looking forward to going and I told him I was jealous. I will miss his friendship, his kindness, our talks. So long for now Brother. - Posted by: Doug Cann (Friend) on: May 13, 2015

  • I worked with Alfonse at Winnipeg Elevator during the 1980s. He was a great guy and a solid member of I.U.E.C. Local 102. - Posted by: George McGowan (Co- worker) on: May 13, 2015

  • We worked together for a short time at Otis and then Alfie went over to Winnipeg Elevator. I however come to know Alf much better when I was the Union Business Manager from 1988 thru 1999. He was a very gently person as well as a Gentleman. I appreciated all the conversations we had over the years. I am very sorry for the families loss. - Posted by: Terry Dauphinais (worked in the Elevator Industry) on: May 12, 2015
