Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(RED) JOSEPH LOUIS LEO REAL LAVERGNE Quietly on the morning of May 14, 2015 "Red" Joseph Louis Leo Real passed away. He was born on July 14, 1932 in St. Anne, Manitoba. He was the son of Florian and Sarah Lavergne. Red made a career of working at Canadian National Railways on the rail lines as a young man, eventually working his way up to management until his retirement. He was also an avid member of the Knights of Columbus frequently volunteering with many fundraising events with his wife Mildred. They enjoyed spending time together helping out in many charitable events. Red was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Mildred, whom he cherished until the day he passed. Also his parents Florian and Sarah Lavergne, his brothers Oliver, Edward, Roger and his sisters Jeanette, Joan and Pat. He is survived by his daughters Michele (Roy) Clark, Jacqueline (Pat) Albanese and grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael Clark, Carmen, Christopher and Jonathan Albanese. Red is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished. We wish to thank them all for making his life so filled with love. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to the Cancer Society of Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Cathedrale Manor located at 321 Ave de la Cathedrale at 10:00 a.m. There will be a lunch to follow after the service. Please accept our heartfelt condolences in this time of grief. May his soul rest in heaven with the love of his life, till we all meet again. We just want you to know that we are always here for you. May you all find peace in the wonderful memories you all shared with Mr. Lavergne. We will miss him so much, he always had a wonderful smile and great stories to share. We will miss you Grandpa! We knew Pat as Barry worked with him long before meeting Real and Mildred. We have kept that friendship and now know Jackie and the boys also. when we moved to a condo we found that Mildred and Real were Jackie's parents and certainly enjoyed their friendship as well.
