Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH (EDE) MAY PINDAR (MACWILLIAM) (nee EGAN) NOVEMBER 2, 1923-MAY 7, 2015 Peacefully on Thursday May 7, 2015 Ede Pindar passed away at Parkview Place. Surviving Ede are her brother-in-law Art Oliver of BC, nephew Gordon Oliver (Pat) and daughter Carolyn of Montreal, niece Catherine Oliver (Bill Burke) of Nova Scotia, niece Suzzane Oliver (Bob Miller) and daughters Michelle and Renae of BC. Also surviving her are step-daughter Shelly Hartle and granddaughter Kaylee, sister-in-law Roxie Vernon and children Suzy (Ken Kawaluk, Sam, Ben and Drew) of Winnipeg and Tom (Gwen, Zac and Jay) of Burlington. Ede was predeceased by her first husband Walter MacWilliam in 1978, second husband Charles Pindar in 2001, brother, Bernard Egan in 1999, great nephew Jeffrey Oliver in 2000, sister Doris in 2009 and brother-in-law Jim Vernon in 2013, as well as her parents Bert and May Egan. Aunt Ede cherished her many acquired nieces and nephews especially Walt's family, the Hays and Clarks of McGregor MB, Harkness's of Brandon and their offspring. Ede delighted in supporting Walter and Charlie in their membership in South Winnipeg Kiwanis and valued their many friendships made in their 40 years of involvement, adding many more "nieces and nephews". "Aunt Ede" had a special relationship with the Makins, Loaders, Rosenbergs, Malones, Stokers, Kubeys, Scales, Byquists, Monica Saluk, Fritschi and Skinners. Her years in the plumbing trade included Western Supplies, Randalls, Central Plumbing and American Standard. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, May 20, at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. Aunt Ede loved flowers and asks for a single flower to be made into a bouquet and taken to Charlie's favourite place, Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts.
