MALFORD STEINKE Peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Malford Steinke, aged 78 years was reunited with his love of his life, Doreen Steinke. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Darlene (Randy); son Neal (Alisha); grandchildren, Brittany, Colton and Tamara (Jared); brothers, Herbert, Walter, Andy (Linda); his sister Janet (Gary), and sister-in-law Dorothy. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Doreen, son Dennis, brothers, Richard, Clifford and sisters, Lillian and Valma. He was born November 10, 1936 in Thalberg, MB and moved to Winnipeg when he was a young man. He worked construction, at Tip Top Tailors and Century Craft where he retired after 25 years. During this time he moved to St. Andrews, MB and started his own business, Stanke's Upholstery and Drapery, working side by side with his wife and raising his family. He will be remembered for his caring, helpful and calm demeanor. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church #6088, PTH9, just South of Selkirk. A viewing will be held prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dad's memory to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Selkirk. "Dad we are going to miss you so, so very much!
