APOLONIO (ONIE) MOLINAR Peacefully on May 11, 2015, Apolonio (Onie), aged 58, passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Edna of 32 years; daughter Jenny; his mother Victoria; siblings Trini Nery, Julie Sarmiento, Ester Marce, Lucy Santos (Thomas), Sammy Molinar (Divina), Abet Molinar, Remie Solis (Elmer); nieces and nephews Orly Marce (Fely), Ron Marce (Raine), Heidi Sarmiento, Jay Ann Carganilla (Edgar), Jay Pee Santos, Marc Marce (Naila), James Nery, Mark Molinar, Michael Molinar, Kimberly Solis, Kevin Solis, as well as numerous grandchildren, relatives, and close friends. He was predeceased by his father Esteban Molinar and his brother-in-law Lito Sarmiento. Apolonio (Onie) was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1981. He worked for All Canadian Emblem Corporation for 28 years before joining JRS Manufacturing / Littelfuse as a Licensed Electrical Technician. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from all. The family would also like to extend its heartfelt thanks to Dr. Greg Wilson and his team, the nurses, healthcare aides, the 4th floor staff of Unit 7 at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their support and care, as well as to his family doctor Dr. Chi-Leng Chow. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral service will also be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with the interment to follow.
