BARBARA ANN WRIGHT (nee HILL) September 9, 1940 - May 14, 2015 Barb Wright, of Richer Manitoba, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2015 with her loving husband Jim at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be forever missed by Jim as well as her children Bill (Colleen) Moore, Sherry Arseneault, Bob (Kim) and Dennis (Nicky), grandchildren Teresa (Mark), Cody, Blake (Sadie), Carson, and Cale. Barb is also survived by her sisters Jean and Florence and brothers Warren and Don. She was predeceased by her sister Myrtle and brothers Howard and Mervin. After a fulfilling nursing career Barb retired to the country to enjoy the quiet life with Jim and their beloved Yorkshire Terrier "babies" where they shared their love of the outdoors. An avid gardener, Barb could grow anything, filling her beautiful yard with flowers, vegetables, plants and vines that attracted all kinds of birds, butterflies and wildlife. Her artistic creativity also included knitting, crocheting, and painting resulting in treasured keepsakes for her loved ones. And Barb's culinary skills were enjoyed by everyone, especially her jams, preserves, and buttertarts. The family would like to thank all the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital, CancerCare Manitoba and ambulance attendants for their wonderfully compassionate and kind-hearted care as well as Sister Irene Rioux for her daily visits and support. As per Barb's wishes a private cremation and interment has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ste. Anne Hospital Fund, CancerCare Manitoba or the Humane Society.
