Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES SUTHERLAND MCGREGOR James Sutherland McGregor, 91, of Winnipeg, passed away suddenly with family at his side, May 19, 2015 at the Grace Hospital. James (aka Roy) was born October 27, 1923 in Winnipeg to James and Janet McGregor, one of eight children. Roy was always helping someone, whether it be his volunteering at the Children's Wish Ride every summer or just lending a hand to anyone who needed it. He lived life to the fullest; he and his wife Doreen enjoyed being Winter Snow Birds for more than 20 years where he made numerous friends and many great memories. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doreen McGregor, daughter Linda, son Scott, grandson Josh, great-grandsons Hayden and Paxton, also by his stepchildren, Norman Ross, Rodney Ross (wife Annie), Patricia Ross and Candace Ross (husband Murray Toews) and their children Michael, Jason (wife Pam), Clayton (wife Leesa), Kaleb, Ethan, Jackie (husband Kevin), Susan (husband Yurek), Katherine, Chad, Justin and their children. Ride on cowboy Roy!! A short Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 23, at 9:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Stonewall, followed by a Celebration of his Life at the Stonewall Legion.
