Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJIM FAST Jim passed away at the Beausejour Hospital on May 18, 2015 at the age of 89 years old after five years of C.O.P.D. He was born in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan on April 12, 1926, grew up in Steinbach and then resided in Oak Bank. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Donna of 65 years, daughters Bonnie (Joachim) Kaiser, Debbie (Howard) Just, and son Lyall. He will also be sadly missed by four grandchildren that he enjoyed so much, teaching them all to play pool by the age of six, Oliver (Cyan) and Sherry Just, and Jennifer and Jeffrey Kaiser, also sisters Gladys (Bill) Peters, Audrey (Ernie) Toews, brother in law Bryan (Pearl) Grapentine, best friend and cousin Gordon (Norma) Barkman as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ray, sisters-in-law Joan and Vivian and nephews Wayne and Brent. Jim was a hydro worker, garage owner, and computer programmer. He enjoyed many years flying his airplane, travelling and playing pool. He was an avid reader and Scrabble player and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. He spent many hours watching the Blue Jays play as well as any curling game. Thank you to all who cared for Jim - doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff of Beausejour Hospital. Also a special heartfelt thank you to Norv and Arlie Christopherson and Audrey and Ernie for their visits and helping out so many times. As Jim wished, he will be cremated and there will be no funeral service. His ashes will be buried by his family at Sunnyside Cemetery this August. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
