ROBERT BRUCE FLAY Robert Bruce Flay passed away suddenly at HSC on May 26/2015 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife Judith, son Michael (Ewa) Flay, daughters Michelle Lewicki, Cheryl (Brian) Gerwing, stepdaughter Wendy (Al) Trumbley, grandchildren Jade, Jessie, Kailey, Morgan, Gracie, Cayden, Holly, Brooklynn, brother Charles (Rosie) Siegel of Meza, AZ , sisters Lois and Eva Siegel of Chicago, IL. He was predeceased by his stepson Keith McManus. Bruce was born in Winnipeg, MB and raised in Hartney, MB. His passion for Electrical began in 1969 working for Kummen Shipmen before deciding to go on his own in 1978 when he started Hi-Lite Electrical Contractors Ltd.; it was his greatest joy in life when he was able to turn over day to day operations to his son Michael in 2014. Bruce was a very generous man always willing to help people out and never looking for anything in return. His later years were spent tinkering around at his beloved cottage in Lac Du Bonnet. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be held. The family wishes to thank the staff at HSC Emergency for their care and compassion.
