Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT JOHN STEFISHEN, JR. 1970 - 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John, aged 45, on May 25, 2015, at the Grace Hospital. John was predeceased by his loving mother Lynda, and left to cherish John's memory are his father Bob Stefishen; sister Melissa (Sheryl); children, Nikita Ruff, Dena and Shaelyn Stefishen and their mother Rena Flamand; grandchildren, Miguel and Bentley. John was a loving father and his kids were his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, and was a huge NFL football fan. His favourite being the San Francisco 49ers. His past employment was years back at Yetman's, where his smile filled the room and he could still remember each part number. He will be greatly missed and always loved. A special thank you to Janice Stefishen for being a great friend. There will be no formal funeral service and a private family service will take place at a later date. Donations in John's honour may be made to Siloam Mission or Ronald McDonald House. John and I were great friends growing up back in the 1980's. You could always find us down a the river fishing (John was a terrific fisherman!) in the summer or at the rink playing hockey in the winter. He was a stand up guy who you could always trust. As the years went by we lost touch but I always had fond memories of him and the great friend he was to me and so many of his friends. I was saddened to hear of his untimely passing.
