Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERA OLIVE LAMONTAGNE (nee COX) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vera at St. Boniface Hospital on May 28, 2015 with her family by her side. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Roland Sr. and her son Roland Jr. She was predeceased by her sisters Ivy Oakley and Frances Campbell. She loved gardening, reading, figure skating and attending the Saturday night auction. Vera had a special way with animals. You can only have one mother, loving, kind and true. No other friend in all the world will be so true to you. For all her love and kindness she asked for nothing in return. If all the world deserted us, to our mother we could turn. For those of you, who have a mother, treasure her with care. For you will never know her value till you see that she is not there. To hear her voice, to see her smile, to sit and talk with her awhile, to be together in the same old way would be our dearest wish today. The service for Vera will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Love you mom and we will miss you. XOXO. May you know in your heart that the gifts Vera gave you are yours forever; her laughter, her words of wisdom, the memories you created with each other, and always her love... I enjoyed working with Vera, she was a strong, determined and accepting woman. I will miss her smile and her chats.
