Date of Passing: May 31, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH VIVIAN It is with broken hearts that the family of Elizabeth "Betty" Vivian announces her passing on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Betty was a dynamo who lived life to the fullest and on her terms. She met her soul mate Percy while in high school and the love story of this couple was an inspiration to all who knew them. Percy, who predeceased Betty, is waiting for her and they shall dance again as they did whenever music could be heard. Left to cherish her memory are her children Bev Roshick and Bruce (Laurie) Vivian, her granddaughters Erica (Joe) Poudrette and Shane Barrett, her great-grandsons AJ and Jordan Poudrette and Evan and Mitchell Barrett, her sister Chris Holden and many other family and friends. We would like to thank Tara, Scott and their children Jorja and Blake for always taking such great care of Betty. This young family was far more than neighbours to Betty. She adopted them as her family and loved them dearly. Thank you also to the nurses and health care aides of the TCU at the Grace General Hospital. Your compassionate care was second to none. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. In memory of Betty, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. I had the pleasure of working with Betty as a volunteer at the Grace Hospital. She was a wonderful lady, never let age stop her. - Posted by: Herdith Flaig (Friend) on: Jun 06, 2015

Betty was a dear old lady whom I will sorely miss. I will remember our Christmas dinners at Lisa & Matt's and how much she enjoyed Cam & Cole. Although she will not be with us in person she will remain forever in my heart. - Posted by: Barb Derow () on: Jun 06, 2015
