Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENDRIKUS BERNARDUS GELSING (HARRY) Born August 26, 1928 in DiDam Netherlands (Holland) Harry passed away peacefully on June 4, 2015 at 86 years of age. Harry is survived by his wife Yvette of 58 years, two sisters Reit of Australia, Anneka of Netherlands, two sisters-in-law, both named Thea, of Netherlands, his brother-in-law Jean-Marie "John" Lafreniere, Noelline Traa (Gerry), Angelique (Angie) Brinkworth, numerous nieces and nephews, friends, extended family and the Lakeside Colony Family. Harry came to Canada in 1954 and became a proud Canadian in June, 1967. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church with reception to follow. CHAPEL LAWN www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715

Harry and Yvette were good friends of my parents - Dini and Hank Pastoors - in another time - from Stony Mountain. Harry came from the same town as my mom - Didam, Holland. Both of my parents are gone now. I haven't kept in touch and recently learned of Harry's passing. My sympathies to you Yvette. I have good memories of you and Harry - thank you. Keep well.
