MARY VERNICE ZALESKI (nee CHASE) August 12, 1926 - May 31, 2015 (AUNTIE BEESH) It is with great sadness we say farewell to our mother, grandmother and "big grandma" (as known by her great-grandchildren) who has now gone to reunite with her husband Joe (1977) and sons Wade (1971) and new born boy (1954). Give them a big hug for us from daughter Joan (Bill); granddaughter Roxanne (Ken) daughter Skye, step-daughter Jenn (Alvin), stepsons Stephen, Nikolas; granddaughter Lee (Morley) son Mervin; grandson Brent (Cailey) sons Carter, Callum and Camden; granddaughter Lana daughters Danielle and Jenna; also brother Glen (Kris); brother-in-law Les Hornick; sisters-in-law Helen Kitchur, Helen Zaleski, Pat Hayden, Helen Chase and Eleanor Chase along with many nieces and nephews and all the residents of First Choice Manor in Ashern. Mom is predeceased by parents Homer and Viola Chase, sisters Audrey, Doreen (Larry), Jackie and Villa, brothers Clayton and Al and a brother-in-law Chip Sanderson. Mother was very crafty in bead work, tin craft, sewing, knitting and crocheting afghans for many silent auction prizes. Her favourite pastimes were playing cards and bingo and going on bus trips to the casino. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in the Faulkner Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Urn bearer will be Mom's only grandson Brent. Following lunch we will take Mom to her final resting spot at the St. Martin Cemetery. • To my beautiful gran ... Words cannot express how much I will miss you. I will miss how your eyes lite up when spending time with family, when a grandchild or great-grandchild entered the room, you always lit up ... that smile and your laugh ... and I loved how you were still so funny and edgy :) Most of all, I will miss those eyes ... we recently saw your eyes in Danielle and every time I look at her, I will always see you and that fills my heart knowing that she will always have a piece of you ... Love you gran - Posted by: LANA JOAN SANNESS (Grand-daughter) on: Jun 06, 2015
