Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALDINE ELIZABETH CRAIG (nee SPICER) April 23, 1939 - June 5, 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gerry, surrounded by family, at Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall, Manitoba. She will be greatly missed by her children Dean (Claudette), Cindy (Michael) and Joel (Kim); grandchildren Karli (Dave), Cash and Reilly; sister Marilynn (Herb) and many dear friends in the numerous communities she lived in throughout her 76 years. Gerry was born and raised in Calgary and spent the last 35 years in Stonewall where she worked at Hallmark for 17 years before retiring in 2008. Gerry was known for her friendly demeanour and ability to make those she met feel welcome and at ease. She was a talented artist who expressed her creativity through painting, card making, and scrapbooking. Gerry enjoyed meeting friends for coffee and accompanying her fellow Red Hatters on outings and was happiest when spending time with friends and family. The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Rosewood Lodge for the comfort, care and compassion shown to Mom during her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosewood Lodge. Memorial service will be held Friday, June 12, 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Stonewall.
