KATHLEEN KALLSTROM Peacefully, on November 7, 2014, at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home, Kathleen "Kay" Kallstrom, aged 72 years, of Eriksdale, MB, passed away. She is survived by her children, daughter Karen: grandchildren, James, Corrinna, DoriAnna Kallstrom; son Kelly and grandchildren: Isabella Kallstrom; son Kevin (Christina) and grandchildren: Carter and Alyssa Kallstrom; brothers and sisters, Louis, Mildred, Richard, Mac and Pat; sisters-in-law, Mary (Rene), Edith and Florence (John), along with nieces, nephews and many good friends. Kay was predeceased by her husband Clarence in 2008 and her parents, James and Augustine Walker. Kay was born on November 24, 1941 in the Eriksdale area and resided there most of her life. She met and married Clarence on June 4, 1960 and together raised their children. She worked for Home Care and also spent time working at home on the farm. Mom loved to cook and had numerous animals she enjoyed caring for. Spending time with family and friends was important to her. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Eriksdale United Church with Shirley Russell officiating. Interment to follow in the Eriksdale Municipal Cemetery. Lunch will be held in the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay's memory to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Guild, in care of Irene Sigurdson, P.O.
