DONALD GEORGE BOULTON March 14, 1959 June 10, 2015 It is with great sadness that the family announces Don Boulton's passing at the age of 56. Don was predeceased by his parents George and Violet; a brother Clarence in infancy; grandparents, James and Sophie Boulton and Harriet and Colin Bear; brothers-in-law Calvin Proulx and Al Kozier. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Jim, Larry, David (Stacy); sisters Joanne Proulx, Maryanne (John) Folster, Liz Kozier; his nieces and nephews, Allen, Tanys, Jennifer, Justin, Jesse, Mat, Tanner, Shaylee, Savannah, Colin and great-nephew Lance. He will also be missed by his Chanas sisters as well as many dear friends. Up until his retirement in 2014, Don had spent 38 years working with the Manitoba Government, Parks Department. He grew up in Libau, Manitoba and five years ago moved down the road to Scanterbury. It was easy to see that a Love of Don's Life was Mexico. He loved the carefree lifestyle that Mexico had to offer him. Whenever he got the chance he was there. One of his greatest joys was getting to spend time with his family and friends. If wealth is measured by the amount of friends someone has he was a very rich man. He had the biggest kindest heart. There was nothing he wouldn't do for anyone. He had no children of his own but his life was spent with so many little ones always around him. The children seemed to sense that big heart. A celebration of Don's life will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, Manitoba. Luncheon will follow immediately. Following the luncheon, interment of ashes will take place at the St. James Anglican Church in Libau, Manitoba. Honorary pallbearers will be John Folster, David Horbas, Greg Shewchuk, Brad Helwer, Jim Habing, Sid Kosack, Raymond Bear and Dino Bear. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6. • When I was I kid I remember you visiting and laughing at me as I paraded around our house wearing my shoes inside of yours. Asking me how many channels I could bring in on my satellite dishes for ears. And effortlessly hanging me upside down over the pool with just one arm. The ribbing, joking, laughing, and nicknames are what makes being a part of this family special. I am glad your Dad and my Grampa were brothers. Thank you for being a part of my life growing up, and I truly miss you and those carefree days at the farm. Sincerely, Tim - Posted by: Tim Komadowski (2nd cousin) on: Jun 16, 2015

  • So sad to hear that "Lumpy" passed away. I have so many fond memories of growing up with the Boulton kids - riding our bikes back and forth, baseball and football games, swimming in the big ditch behind their place. I always knew Don had a heart as big as he was. I moved away from Libau at the age of 17 but every couple of years I would run into Don somewhere and it was like no time had passed at all. RIP my old friend. - Posted by: Cheryl Guttormson (Friend) on: Jun 13, 2015
